The RHM employee food donation drive for 2009 was a huge success! With the help of a generous group of supplier and service partners, this year we were able to contribute six pallet loads of food totaling 2,510 pounds. It was all delivered the Wednesday morning prior to Thanksgiving to St. Aloysius Community Center in downtown Detroit and God’s Kitchen in the Heartside neighborhood of Grand Rapids. In these very tough times, this food will provide literally thousands of meals to the homeless, marginalized and working poor of our two largest cities.
